A nine-phase process, because guessing is expensive.
Most freelancers work by instinct and hope. I work from a documented process that runs the same way on every project — which is why the timeline in your contract is a date, not an estimate.

Nine phases, each with a defined end point. You always know what's being worked on, what's next, and what I need from you — no silent weeks and no moving targets.

Contract & kickoff
Scope, fixed price, and a launch date, signed before anything starts. You know what you're getting and when, in writing.
Written scopeFixed proposalLaunch date50% deposit - 02 — Discovery
Discovery & audit
A call about the business, then a full crawl of your existing site. This is where the redirect map starts, long before anything gets designed.

Sitemap & content strategy
Which pages you actually need, what each one has to do, and what it should say. Usually fewer pages than you have now.

Brand direction
Color, type, and logo decided in one round rather than drifting for weeks. If you already have a brand, this refines it instead of replacing it.

Homepage design
The homepage is designed and approved first. It becomes the reference every other page is built against, which is why the rest goes quickly.

Every remaining page, built against the approved homepage. React, responsive from the start, tested on real devices.

Every URL from the old site mapped to its new home and tested on staging. Nothing goes live with an unmapped address.

A final pass on speed, accessibility, forms, and links, then your review. This is the last stop before the domain moves.

The part most rebuilds get wrong.
Most rebuilds happen without anyone noticing what got lost. The old site has pages that customers have bookmarked, that Google sends callers to, and that your competitors are not. When those addresses stop working, the calls stop too. The worst part is you usually don't notice until four to six weeks after launch, when the quiet has already cost you money.
I prevent that by mapping every old address to its new home before the new site goes live, then testing the whole thing on staging. The technical piece is called a 301 redirect; you don't need to remember that. What matters is that anyone who found you before can still find you the day after launch.
You don't have to think about any of this.
- Your phone keeps ringing.
The customers who found you last month can still find you the day after launch.
- Nothing on you.
I handle the crawl, the mapping, and the testing. You don't need to know what a redirect is.
- Tested before anyone sees it.
The whole thing runs on a staging site first. Nothing goes live until every old address leads somewhere real.
- Watched for 30 days after.
I check the numbers weekly for a month and tell you what they say — in plain English.
Built on infrastructure
that outlasts trends.
Your site runs on React, deploys to a global CDN, and sits behind enterprise DNS. The tools aren't the point — the point is that nothing here is a plugin that breaks in eighteen months.
